Simone Russell Design

I work from my studio in Innerleithen, a small town in the beautiful Scottish Borders designing, illustrating and producing wedding stationery. Working closely with my lovely couples, I enjoy the challenge of creating exactly what they want and going above and beyond their expectations. I’m very lucky to work with an excellent external printer which ensures the stationery items are the best they possibly can be.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Visual Communication from Gray's School of Art in June 2011 and was selected to represent Scotland's emerging design talent at the Scottish Parliament following my degree show exhibition. I have since worked on a freelance basis for a wide variety of clients.

Not only do I love creating myself, but I also love to share my working knowledge. I lecture at Edinburgh College on a part time basis and also deliver animation and design workshops on a contract basis to primary and secondary schools on request. As a qualified graphic designer, I am happy to take on any freelance work (outwith all things weddings) depending on my working schedule at the time.
